Fujian Zhangzhou Qibin Line 1-7 Noise Reduction Case Study

Project Overview

This industrial noise control project covers production Line 1 to Line 7 of Qibin in Zhangzhou, Fujian. Multiple high-power fans and rotating equipment run continuously, generating strong aerodynamic noise and mechanical vibration noise, resulting in excessive noise across the workshop area.

We adopted modular acoustic enclosures, ventilation silencers, internal sound absorption and vibration isolation treatment for the whole production lines to reduce noise radiation while keeping normal production and heat dissipation.

Noise Sources & Challenges

Main noise sources:

• High-speed fan aerodynamic noise

• Equipment vibration and pipeline airflow regenerated noise

• Indoor reverberation noise superposition

Key challenges: 7 production lines operate simultaneously. Acoustic structures must reserve sufficient ventilation and maintenance access without interrupting continuous manufacturing.

Custom Noise Reduction Solution

Modular Acoustic Enclosure

Heavy composite sound insulation panels are used to build segmented acoustic enclosures for noise sources. All joints are sealed to avoid sound leakage.

Ventilation Silencing System

Acoustic louvers and pipeline silencers are installed for air intake and exhaust, ensuring heat dissipation and suppressing airflow noise.

Sound Absorption & Vibration Isolation

Inner sound-absorbing materials lower reverberation. Vibration isolators and flexible pipe connectors block solid-borne vibration transmission.

On-Site Installation

Segmented modular acoustic enclosures were constructed along Line 1 to Line7. Installation was arranged in batches to minimize disruption to production.
