The mineral processing and crushing workshop of China Molybdenum operates 24/7 continuously. Heavy-duty crushing and screening equipment generate relentless, high-intensity, wide-frequency industrial noise.

Because the duty control room directly adjoins the active production line, interior ambient noise levels far exceeded occupational health limits. This created a harsh working environment, threatening operators' hearing health and operational alertness. The primary challenge was to engineer a quiet, ergonomic control sanctuary that maintains an unobstructed, clear line of sight to the operating machinery.

Engineering Noise Control Solution

To address the high-decibel environment without compromising operational safety, a comprehensive modular acoustic control booth system was deployed:

● Fully Enclosed Soundproof Shell: Built with high-mass modular acoustic panel walls and ceiling structures embedded with high-density sound-absorbing cores to block low and high-frequency structural/airborne noise.

● Multi-Layer Acoustic Glass Windows: Integrated double/triple-glazed insulated acoustic observation windows, offering superior Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings while providing 180° visual monitoring of the production floor.

● Heavy-Duty Acoustic Doors & HVAC Attenuation: Fitted with heavy-duty perimeter-sealed acoustic doors and custom inline ventilation silencers to supply fresh air while preventing noise leakage through ductwork.

● Acoustic Sealing & Leak Elimination: Applied full structural joint sealing to eliminate acoustic flank pathways and pinhole sound leaks.
